Our Learning

Our Butterflies - We have set them free today so keep your eyes peeled for them around school.

Wren Class have begun to use the Talk 4 Writing format in English. This involves immersing ourselves in a story and focusing all our written work, drama and topic around a chosen class book. We wrote a story map and used this to help use learn the story. This is our video of our performance. We hope you like it!

Our first Parent "Stay and Read" session! It's been wonderful to have parents/carers who were able to stay on a Friday morning to read with their children. All the children use this time to listen to and explore books and stories.

On our first week back after the half term, Wren Class visited the Clipper Tea factory and building site. We had great fun!

At the end of the half term we presented the story of the lion and the mouse in Celebration worship and showed off a selection of our writing and art work.

Week 6 - As part of our topic we made salt dough gifts for someone in our family. We wrote a Thank you note to give with it.
