Where children come first; belonging and building together

I hope that everyone had a great weekend in the sunshine.  We enjoyed spending lots of time in the garden.

This week most of our work links to Neil Armstrong and the Moon Landing.  I know that you will find this very interesting and, as always, I have tried to make the learning as hands-on, creative and practical as possible.  There is the chance to design and make your own rocket, complete some moon art and learn all about astronauts.

Thank you for all of those who have sent bits of work to do with the writing tasks.  It would be great to see more of these. Please don't feel you have to 'invest' in the whole week of lessons.  You can dip in and out but challenge yourself to do at least one this week.

Finally, to conclude our work on microhabitats you could make a bug hotel to attract more minibeasts into your garden.  Interestingly, I had a snail climb right up to my upstairs window! What was it doing?

It was also nice to see Evie look after a bird who had a damaged wing.

Hope that you have a great week,

Mr Griffiths
