The Stars of Our Show! And that's a wrap! So incredibly proud of every single child who took part in this year's Nativity. They filled the stage with so much joy and Christmas spirit. A special, massive 'Well Done' goes out to those stars who stepped into new roles at the very last minute due to sickness. Taking on a new part with zero notice isn't easy, but you did it with such confidence and truly saved the show! You are absolute superstars. What a magical Christmas Lunch! Our hall was filled with the sound of festive music and happy chatter as the children sat down for their annual Christmas lunch. Look Out Below! Elvis is Doing His Phonics! Seahorse Class had to look up to find Elvis this morning! It seems our resident elf has been practicing his gymnastic routine while also brushing up on his letters. We found him hanging completely upside down from the ceiling, right over the red trampoline! He must have very strong legs to stay up there all morning. Not only is he a star acrobat, but he's also doing his phonics! He's used his sound cards to spell out a very clear instruction on the trampoline for us: j-u-m-p. We think he's ready for some high-energy learning today! Rodger's Working Hard on His Spellings! Our favorite reading helper, Rodger the Elf, has been very busy overnight! He was found today in Starfish Class, perched high up on the whiteboard, showing off his impressive spelling skills. It looks like he's been practicing his "oi" sounds and some tricky words like "house" and "here." He even left us a little note saying he's been reading these all night! Rodger is proving that being a great reader also helps you become a star at spelling. A Snowy Surprise in Seahorse Class! We might not have real snow outside today, but that didn't stop Elvis the Elf from bringing the North Pole to us! Seahorse Class arrived this morning to find Elvis right in the middle of our small world area, lying in a flurry of "snow" (flour!). It looks like he couldn't resist making a giant snow angel right on the table! We Found the Ultimate Christmas Present! Guess what Seahorse Class walked into this morning? Elvis the Elf seems to be getting excited about Christmas morning and decided to turn himself and his friends into giant Christmas Presents! He's wrapped himself, the Everywhere Bear, Fred the frog and a toy dinosaur in bright red paper and sparkling tinsel. Look how tightly wrapped they are! It looks like he had a great time using the tinsel to decorate everything around them too!
