We are a school with a proud history of serving the Beaminster community for over 40 years.
In the spring of 2014, St Mary’s transitioned into an academy, allowing us to continue working closely with the Beaminster Pyramid of schools while also benefiting from our place within the Diocese of Salisbury Academy Trust. This connection enables us to collaborate with a diverse network of schools, sharing expertise, enriching learning experiences, and participating in exciting events in sports, music, and beyond.

A Proud Moment for Beaminster St Mary's Academy! We are delighted to share that Beaminster St Mary's Academy has received a letter of congratulations from Dorset Council recognising the significant improvement in our Key Stage 2 outcomes over the past two years. The letter highlights the determination, strong leadership, and collective commitment shown by our whole school community in raising standards and ensuring every child is supported to achieve their very best. This recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of our pupils, staff, governors, and families. We are incredibly proud of what has been achieved together and grateful for the continued support from our parents and carers. As Dorset Council noted, sustained improvement is built on perseverance, collaboration, and an unwavering focus on helping children thrive. We would like to thank our amazing staff, children, governors, families, and the wider community for their support in helping us achieve this success.
