This half term, our Remarkable Rays have begun brilliantly by learning about giant Manta Rays.
They have started to collect their key facts (thanks to Steve Backshall's Deadly 60!) and will start to develop their toolkit for writing a Manta Ray non-chronological report.

Did you know....
The largest Manta Ray ever recorded was 8 meters from wing tip to wing tip!
Manta Rays can weigh the same as a Hippo and be as long as a stretch Limo!
They are vacuum feeders and consume a range of phytoplankton and zooplankton.
