Our Climate Action Plan

At Beaminster St Mary’s, we are committed to caring for our environment and helping our children become responsible guardians of the world around them. Our new Climate Action Plan, part of the Diocese of Salisbury Academy Trust’s Let’s Go Zero 2030 programme, sets out how we will reduce our carbon footprint, cut waste, save energy and water, encourage active travel, and create more habitats for wildlife in our school grounds. Our School Council and Eco Club will lead the way, with pupils helping to run switch-off campaigns, food waste audits, uniform and book swaps, and nature surveys. We will share our progress throughout the year through our newsletters and website, and we warmly invite families and our wider community to join us in making a difference.
