  • Life Educaton Wessex Mobile Classroom visit

    Tue 16 Jan 2018

The Life Education Wessex (LEW) Mobile Classroom will be visiting us on Thursday 25th January and Friday 26th January 2018.

LEW is a charity providing health and drug education support to schools. The specially equipped classroom provides an unforgettable experience for the children whilst contributing to our PSHE curriculum. The fun, interactive and age-appropriate programmes help children to understand the wonders of the human body and how to look after it.

    • At KS1 they learn about healthy eating, being a good friend and the safe use of medicines.
    • At KS2 they consider the effects and risks associated with the use of drugs, including medicines, alcohol and tobacco. Children also learn skills of friendship and how to cope with bullying and peer pressure.

If you would like to find out more about what the children will be experiencing, a 30 minute Parent/Carer session will be held at Thursday 25th January at 9.00am.
